Founder / Lead Instructor
Raife is a US Army Veteran who was raised in Alaska. Upon receiving his Honorable Discharge from the military, Raife attended Jack Mountain Bushcraft School’s Yearlong Wilderness Bushcraft Immersion Program in Ashland, Maine. While attending JMBS he realized that he wanted to teach Wilderness Education. After leaving Maine, Raife enrolled at Prince William Sound College in Valdez, Alaska where he attained his AAS in Outdoor Leadership. Raife is certified as a Wilderness EMT, AIARE1, and countless other things.
Raife has trekked thousands of miles with a pack on his back, as well as a canoe paddle in hand. Don’t let his lack of Arcteryx gear, or the fact that he doesn’t have a huge beard fool you, his backcountry experience is extensive.

Alisa pulls quadruple duty as Office Manager, Assistant Instructor, College Student, and Proud Mother.
Although her duties usually keep her behind a desk or a stroller, Alisa can still hang with the best of them in the backcountry.
